Formerly of Palm Beach, Florida and now based in Georgia's Golden Isles area (Brunswick, St. Simons & Jekyll Islands) Mike Hulett's heartfelt soulful vocals combined with his smooth yet smokin' jazz and R&B stylings on sax make him a favorite entertainer.
Having performed since the age of ten, Mike is fluent on alto, tenor and soprano sax. His repertoire centers around an eclectic mix of classic and modern jazz, combined with fusion and funk jazz styles. Rounding out the mix are select favorite R&B, soul and rock/pop tunes. Mike has been a featured performer at several large venues including local fairs and festivals, nightclubs, restaurants, corporate events and weddings. With a wide variety of material, Mike can fit the bill for a small intimate jazz venue or a large dance club.
Mike performs primarily as a solo act, but is also a popular addition to many local bands, providing a great driving sax background and harmony vocals.

Hey Mike,
I don't expect you to remember me...but we have met on many occasions. I am writing to you to ask a favor. I have a friend Beth Cain that is going through cemo for breast cancer. Our birthdays are in this month exactly two weeks apart. Her next cemo treatment is in the middle of our birthdays on Thrusday September 15th. I wanted to ask if you would come sing us a few songs during this treatment, which will be at the the hospital cancer treatment center. I have not checked with the cancer center to make sure that this would be okay...but I can't see where they would have a problem. I wanted to surprise her with you singing happy birthday...what do you think? I am pretty sure the treatment is in the am and lasts about 3 hours...so you could come during any of that time.
Let me know what you think about this...

We just returned from our honeymoon in Honolulu and Maui…it was awesome. You guys were great and met and exceeded every expectation. The guests are all still raving about you. We had a great time and Michael’s rendition of “Lady” was perfect! Just get ready now for the anniversary party! Thanks for making our day as special as we wanted it.

AFTERWARDS
Beth was surprised...and nobody noticed but I was jumping up and down in the hall after seeing the look on her face. We did good...and we did a good thing...I think the enjoyment spread in the whole center. And I believe that doing these things is what helps keep us grounded...you guys doing this reaffirms to me that there are still really good people in this world. You gave of yourselves...unselfishly...my dad told me once that the defination of a hero was someone who did something for someone else with out the expectation of anything in return...So Jim and Mike...you guys are heros!
